Lovely experience at the illuminate event.
Social distancing was in place and staff we all wearing masks, plenty of hand sanitizer around as well.
The event was great and my kids enjoyed it, and the food and drink were a perfect way to cap the evening off!

This proved to be a delightful visit, even in the depths of winter! The grounds offer a variety of short walks with an extensive water feature linking them all. An informative film explains the recent history of the place and shows how the impressive Edwardian garden was first constructed. Finally, we had an excellent lunch in what was formerly a stable block. The menu was both creative and enticing and reasonably priced. We'll worth a visit!

Lovely gardens to walk around and admire the planting regimes & structures of the gardeners. The paths can become a bit muddy in wet weather however a good pair of walking boots / wellies will sort that problem. The Cafe is wonderful & serves quite yummy food (which you can visit without entering the Gardens if you wish to meet friends there). Note, when visiting, if you come off the M5 at J24, you get taken along some very narrow & winding roads, I'd come in via Taunton on J25 as it's easier...

A fine January day and a great day out. Enjoyed a lovely walk through the woods and gardens;. swathes of snowdrops and daffodils starting to flower, so will definitely return in a week or so to see them in all their glory! Followed by tea and delicious scones and Bakewell tart in the Stables Café. All so good that we took out membership.

Superb little jem of a place ! Well tendered gardens offering relaxing, scenic walks. The house and art gallery are beautiful, and the used book shop is a treasure trove for those who like a bargain read.
Food in the restaurant is first class. Tasty, and plentiful. Staff are friendly, polite, and helpful. Definitely worthy of more than one visit. !!
