Saturday July 26th 2025, our unforgettable wedding day held at Oake Manor Golf club. Both Anne Marie & I would personally like to thank Ginny & her amazing team for what was a quite beautiful & stunning wedding day for us & our guests!
Ginny our wedding planner was quite amazing & made sure everything went as smoothly as we’d hoped. Her calmness, efficiency, enthusiasm & kindness shone through right from when I arrived at 12 noon until after Midnight when the wedding party left with huge smiles on their faces & a very happily married couple!
The service was held in the conservatory area which looked utterly beautiful, our pictures were taken by our amazing photographer Phil Woodall, who kept us calm throughout & guided around this beautiful golf course setting to take some quite amazing pictures including some by the fountain as you enter the course.
The wedding breakfast was presented in the room beside the conservatory & looked quite beautiful. Our guests were treated to a most wonderful feast including just the best carvery & sweets to die for!
The day of our dreams was finished off with a fabulous disco and constant dancing orchestrated by Mike the venues in house DJ.
We can’t thank you enough Ginny, you helped us enjoy our day throughout & we will never forget you for that!
Just saying Thankyou just doesn’t cut it, Ginny & Oake Manor golf club really made our dream come true!!

Had a lovely Sunday carvery. Food was great. I had the veggie option which was great and they had a vegan gravy and the stuffing was veggie too. Really felt included. Couldn't fault the food and the staff were all lovely. Will definitely be back

Great Sunday Carvery,must book as very busy. Like to take my staying guests here. Good service lovely food . Choose between one two or three courses with coffee thrown in. Recommend it.

M C Builders recently completed a full kitchen renovation for us, which included the removal of a wall (with some tricky complications along the way), installation of a brand new kitchen, and complete decoration. From start to finish, the quality of their work has been outstanding.
Matt is a true perfectionists – every detail was thought through and completed to a high standard. The whole team is incredibly well-organised, reliable, and clearly take pride in what they do. Communication was excellent throughout, and any unexpected issues were handled professionally and efficiently.
They’re also just lovely people to have around – super friendly, respectful, and a real pleasure to work with. We’re currently having some additional external work completed by them, and we know we’re in safe hands.
We’re genuinely going to miss having them around when the job’s finished. Couldn’t be happier and would recommend M C Builders without hesitation.
