We dined yesterday lunchtime 13.00pm with friends for the carvery, although packed, staff were efficient and friendly. Forgoing starters we ploughed straight into the carvery which was excellent, this was followed by an extensive sweet menu.
All told including drinks the bill came to 183 pounds very reasonable. I would recommend getting there early!
The only negative was there appeared to be no disabled parking spaces near to the building although there are Drop off points, this is not ideal for those of us who drive but find walking difficult....this is something the management could easily rectify given the size of the parking area.

This golf club has been top of the list for dining since day one and the standard has been maintained in quality, quantity and service always at a high level. There is ample seating, excellent views and a fine selection in the way of fare. You are sure to find something you like on the menu and at sensible prices too.

One of the more surreal golf club experiences. Have played here on several occasions on golf tours. The course is not bad, if a bit flat and dull in places. You can slap the ball left or right and get away with it on a number of holes, which is helpful if playing off 23. However I would say there are better options locally (Enmore Park, Taunton & Pickeridge).

Good bar and bar food so so far so good. However the wierd thing about this place is that although a golf club, the golf is more of an afterthought as clearly the main attraction/revenue stream of the place is that people come here just to eat. So the bar is a hybrid between a golf club bar and a restaurant bar.

And that is before you get to the tribute acts which Oake Manor clearly has a reputation for. I have really seen ELO, Adele and Ed Sheerin all warming up while I am considering that missed put on the 18th green. All a bit odd.

Anyway it's clearly very popular with the locals so my "average" mark is probably a bit harsh. But my vote is purely for the golf and as I say, there are better options elsewhere. Still worth trying however if you want a foregiving course.

On the Sunday lunchtime that we visited the large dining area (200+ covers) was very busy and noisy.
Carvery was a bit chaotic where 2 queues converge on some of the vegetables and gravy area.
Standard carvery food well cooked.
For the prices charged there are better Sunday lunches in the area which offer a more relaxed environment.
The whole dining area feels a bit 'corporate'.

Cane here for my works Xmas do and I must say there was a lot of food but it wasn't all great! The starter and pudding were really good! Fish course and main course not so good. So for £32.50 I don't think I'd pay for that again even if my work did decide to come here. I'd probably eat before and turn up later :) As for the drinks, I ordered a Malibu and lemonade (single) and was asked for £4.05... that's expensive right? 😂 To me it is. The entertainment was supposed to go on until midnight but it was literally a school disco type thing! The photo booth in the foyer was the best thing about it! I was a bit disappointed but then I haven't been here on a day time to eat but there any review many other places I would go. The toilets were clean though so good job on those 😋

Oake Manor is set in beautiful grounds with a golf course but also offers excellent dining facilities. There are a number of entertainments offered including some for children during school holidays. Weekends offer a selection of tribute weekends and the one we attended was for Queen and was very good even down to the massive Bohemian Rhapsody.
Food was of a good standard and the bar although small was efficient. Space was a little limited as there were a large number of diners but once seated it was comfortable. Staff were efficient and friendly.

Came to a Beatles Tribute evening, and what a great night.
In the price of our tickets, came a hot buffet. We had the choice of Chicken curry, Vegetable curry, Beef Hotpot and BBQ Pork.
Food was really good.
The entertainment was brilliant, and the staff were fantastic.
Already looking at booking another night out there, with plenty of choices for tribute evenings, are having a hard decision of which one to go to.
