I do love a great Sunday carvery. Oaks manor ticked all the boxes. Staff were nice and the food was excellent. It was well priced at £10.95. Well done!

Only fools and three courses .. food was excellent. The entertainment was not bad. With good company and flowing alcohol a pleasant evening.
Then went again for the 80's night. I found it very crowded, food was not so good as previous. It wasn't bad, just served on mass! Although, It was reasonably priced for both entertainment and food so no complaints...

Visited Oake Manor last night with family for the Pirate Spectacular and carvery.
Obviously a very popular event which seemed to attract the young and not so young.
The carvery was lovely, offering a large variety of vegetables and sauces.
The position of our table made it rather difficult to see the stage as we were at the far end of the room, the stage being in the middle.
However we all enjoyed the entertainment which seemed to be over far too soon.
I would love to attend further themed dinners in the future as it was amazing value for the amount we paid.

We have attended a number of functions and have enjoyed them all. Food is good service is excellent and attention to detail makes for a lovely evening. Also good value for money and plenty of parking.

We had an organized lunch here for our car club so we were about 30+ diners. Not only did the service manage our group but all the other diners in the restaurant, done in a very orderly manner so no one felt herded to the buffet counter and all managed to get their food at a similar time. Pork, turkey or roast beef, all the usual trimmings. Food was not tasteless (must be a smoker who wrote that). 3 course for £15, bargain as the dessert trolley had massive size or various tempting sweets: pavlova, pecan rum pie, chocolate cake, strawberry trifle (huge) just to name a few. Do try this place. Well worth it but don't get on the scale the next day to avoid the shock!

Kirsty did a wonderful job at organising a family get together for my birthday. Everything that we asked for was good. We had a selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, quiches, cakes & cream teas. A room was partitioned off making things private for our family. Nothing was too much trouble making this a special & memorable occasion.

Very average and very busy which must mean it's popular but I'd imagine that's because it appeals to the "pile it high" school of thinking. A shame because regular eating here isn't too bad if a little safe. Food very average and some of the vegetable combinations were a little strange ......... roasted parsnips glazed with mango chutney...........

We eat here regularly and the menu is good value, plenty of variety, and they offer a Two-4-One on a number of their dishes. Lovely spacious dining area, you can eat outside, and in the summer enjoy a drink looking out onto the glof course.
