Large gardens, beautiful house, excellent restaurant. Expect to spend a full day here. It’s so nice to see the house still being used and creating its own stories to add to its history. We’ve visited many houses & gardens like this throughout the South Wests and this is amongst the best of them. Gardens are large and varied with plenty to see and the restaurant is fantastic in its own right - no pre-packaged sandwiches here! Highly recommend.

Really pleased with the service from the team. Harvey was so helpful and took the time to check that everything was okay. I explained that having a separate work email had become a bit of a hassle, and he suggested a really practical solution and sorted it all out very quickly. It has made things so much easier for me. A lovely, friendly and helpful company. I would highly recommend!

We love going for a stroll around Hestercombe, all seasons, all weathers. I especially like it on a rainy day because it's so beautiful and so peaceful.
Sadly the food offering here is wrong, wrong, wrong. Walkers want warm and cosy cafes with simple comfort food. The restaurant here is overpriced and stuffy with a terrible stilted atmosphere. Like a funeral parlour that does fancy coffee and puts your crisps in a bowl.
