Nice little find the morning after!
Cracking breakfast L/S with b/pudding, they’ve obviously listened to previous customers because the sausage was good quality and cooked well. Owner Jenny was in the galley and fid a good job with breakfast. They do a nice coffee, none of that costa rubbish and had an art exhibition going on (not sure if its an occasional or permanent thing). Its unassuming from the outside but inside its light, high, airy and nicely decorated. Theres upstairs seating where you can sit and watch the paupers over the the w’spoon opposite ;-).
And the icing on the sausage roll, it’s dog friendly.

Great lunch in here today. Freshly cooked, healthy and nicely presented. This is a great little find in Chard. Highly recommended. Staff friendly and polite.

First time here for a steak night. Super price and a great building. However service wasn't great as not welcomed on arrival. Drinks came quickly and order taken quickly too. However, one steak was cooked incorrectly to order. This was replaced immediately but by the time it was recooked, I had eaten most of the rest of the meal so it was just a slab of meat on the plate. Had someone come to check if the meals were OK, this could have been resolved quicker. Chef came out herself to check after 2nd steak came out, which was cooked perfectly.
Came to pay and stood at the bar for 5 minutes before anyone came out. 5 staff put the back, no one attending the front.
Lovely venue, huge potential, just a little rough around the edges and in need of some care and staff training on service.

Cute coffee and breakfast spot with great food and a real local community flare. It's in an old church and has tons of character. Jenny came out to chat with us and gave us the lowdown on the surrounding area and even the backstory of the resident ghost. On top of that our English breakfast was massive for what we paid and our flat whites were delicious. What more can you ask for?

This place has the potential to be amazing with the restaurant being in a old pipe factory/methodist church. The breakfast took ages to come out and was a little lacking for the price. We tried it as it has a great reputation locally but was left a little disappointed. The service was great, very friendly, helpful and attentive and the Chef even came out of the kitchen to discuss my dietary needs.

A surprisingly big place but still cozy and modern. Some good ales and wine. Food selection is reasonable and is of excellent quality, quantity and presentation. Dog friendly too - it was quiet when we visited and we were even given some biscuits and water for the dog. Would highly recommend
