This is a small museum with some really good artefacts. It has some nationally important Roman and Prehistoric collections as well as rooms dedicated to the Monmouth Rebellion and Somerset Rifles.
They encourage a £5 donation, which will also give you access to any special exhibitions they have at the time.
Great for adults. Probably lacks "wow" factor for pre-teens. Staff knowlegable and friendly.

Excellent service and communication from Ross at High Spec Roofing. Right from the initial enquiry through to completing the work, everything has gone smoothly and very professionally.
High Spec Roofing have fitted UPVC cladding to the fascias, soffits and barge boards with the minimum of fuss and left everywhere clean and tidy. They also replaced the downpipes.
The price for the work was very reasonable and everyone who worked on the property was friendly and respectful.
I would not hesitate in recommending High Spec Roofing to anyone.

What a fantastic company to deal with (I found them online on the Truma portal when my air conditioning unit failed whilst on a trip last month).. and great that they’re Somerset based too… All the staff were very friendly and the director Jenny is so knowledgeable and sorted out the Truma Warranty paperwork online whilst I was still away … A new replacement air conditioning unit fitted to the caravan yesterday… excellent service, and I’ll be using their approved workshop going forward… would thoroughly recommend the company.

From the first contact to the handover after installation the guys have been a pleasure to work with.
My mum's house has a small awkward staircase and they were able to supply and fit a really elegant solution from Royal Otto( I think that's the name)
It is a superb bit of engineering and very impressive.
The price was exactly what I was expecting but the service was just exceptional. They were happy to take time explaining it to my elderly mum and it's the biggest smile I've seen on her face since she had a fall.
I really can't thank them enough and would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone.

I was recently recommended this phone shop as I moaning about having to get a new phone due to battery dying. They replaced my battery for £90, what a bargain compared to having to buy a new phone! I am going back on Monday to purchase from the shop. I hadn’t realised they did so much here. We are incredibly lucky to have them in Chard and I shall be calling in here in future before I go to Amazon. Thank you very much x
