I can't comment on the golf. We visited in the evening for a meal and tribute band with friends. This was very good value indeed and the food is good. Well worth checking out their events to see if they are playing any of the music you like.

The course was amazing - however the weather was not. We were very surprised to find the course was open due to high winds and rain. We were on a golf tour so we went out being advised that when the rains abates the course drys quickly.
The course itself looked fabulous and I can imagine on a sunny day it would be a great challenge and fun to play. The rain however continued and we only managed to play until the course returned to the club house. No complaints though - we made the decision to go out when a refund was offered before we started.
The bar/restaurant was a little dated but was comfortable and the food was good. Would recommend.

Visited twice now for tribute bands on a Saturday night. My overall view is excellent, food very good, staff hard working and never seem to stop and are very polite/welcoming.
I feel this place will become more and more popular so booking in advance may become a necessity.

A good daytime menu, with a lot of variety and a decent amount of fish and vegetarian dishes as well as meat. The food is generally of good quality, too.
However, a word of warning- the portions (especially of the chips and fries) are pretty big, so order with caution!
