Lovely place, great tribute acts but their vegetarian choice for tribute night meals is wanting! Meat eaters have 4 choices ( 3 meat + the 1 veggie). We veggies only get one choice and if you don’t like it- hard luck! It’s a shame because there are lots of vegetarians now, if the excuse for one choice is wastage, well actually there is also waste with the meat meals! Surely we could have 2 choices, I don’t expect the same as carnivores but just one choice is discrimination really. All other establishments I go to for meals have more than one choice! I would have given 5 stars but for this problem.

Lovely area. Great staff. On the night I went it seemed as if they were running the bar down as we couldn't get the same round of drinks twice! The Adelle tribute was fantastic but the Ed Sheeran needed singing lessons imho. Food was ok.

We are not golfers, but this excellent clubhouse was only a mile from where we are staying, so decided to try it out. We were not disappointed, the food was reasonably priced and they catered for my wife, Sue, who is gluten and lactose intolerant. Sue chose sausage and mash, they had gluten free sausages and substituted the mash for new potatoes and the caramelised onion gravy for gluten free gravy and included steamed green veg for free.

Super course. Lovely meal afterwards (look out for the sweet trolley if you don't mind putting on a few pounds!) Found it quite a challenge - the course that is - so will have to go back and get to grips with it. Recommended.

Very crowded almost sitting on top of each other about 4/6 people had to move from the table so a person could get out to the toilet.
The food was bland and over fussy with added wine or added flavour of Somthing. The staff were very nice making chips available for my autistic nephew because he was unable to eat other dishes. No a bad experience but not as enjoyable as they could make it

A visit with family for Sunday lunch. 1,2 or 3 course Sunday lunch to include a carvery and coffee/tea. Nice choice of starters served at the table. The carvery is lovely, 3 choices of meat, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, lots of choice of vegetables, gravy and various sauces to compliment. A varied choice of deserts. Food is excellent quality, staff are very friendly and helpful and it’s a lovely venue. No rush to move you on after lunch and some comfortable sofa’s to sit and chat over another drink if you want to. Excellent if you are there for a large party or a couple of you.

We have just played in the Men’s Open Golf course was a little battered by the elements and would benefit from some kinder weather.
Competition was well run although I do think that the profit made from the 2’s comp is excessive not sure how you decide the prize before the number of 2’s is known?
