Where do I even start! Before learning with Vern, I was so utterly nervous but as soon as I met Vern, all the anxiety went away! He is the most patient, funny and genuine person ever. I could possibly recommend a better instructor. He allows you to take things at your own pace and won’t pressure you into anything at all. Absolutely amazing instructor!

Vern is such an amazing teacher. He was patient, knowledgeable, and helped boost my confidence, not only on the road but as a person. Vern’s teaching methods were clear and effective.
At the very beginning of my lessons, my anxiety was through the roof! But from the beginning I knew I was recommended to the right person.
I had no confidence or self belief but from day 1 Vern was always patient, friendly and assuring. I always felt safe, comfortable and 100% supported! Every time he noticed I started to get panicky or anxious he would ease my anxiety and make sure I was alright and ready to carry on.
As each lesson went on I gained so much confidence which I did not think was even possible so I will forever be grateful for that as the confidence didn’t just grow as a driver but as a person.
One of the things I really struggled with initially was navigating roundabouts.
I remember during my lessons with Vern, I used to try my best to avoid roundabouts because they seemed so intimidating. But Vern, being the amazing instructor he is, encouraged me to face my fears and taught me the proper techniques for navigating roundabouts. Now, I feel much more confident and comfortable when encountering them on the road. Vern truly helped me conquer my roundabout anxiety!
I never imagined myself taking the driving test, as I thought I would fail. But here we are, I passed my practical driving test on the very first try! All because of Vern.
I will forever be grateful for the help he has given and the patience he had, it meant a lot for me.
I will most definitely miss the lessons.

Learning to drive with Vern has been from start till finish what i can only describe as a wonderful experience. On every lesson i learned something new and important which helped me become a better, sensible and most importantly a safer driver on the road because once you achieve that than preparation for the test seems just like another routine drive rather than a mountain to climb. His methods of teaching is the best among all the previous instructors i had. The best bit of his teaching that i liked was how quickly he picks up on the errors i would make and thoroughly explains where i did go wrong , why it was a error and how could i improve on it . There’s plenty more that i could write but i will let his record speak for itself . In the end I just want thank him for all the extra efforts he put on me and other students to achieve our goals .

Vern is the best teacher ever! After I failed my first test because of my bad habits and nerves I've decided to change instructor and Learn with Vern. He teached me how to control my nerves, to be confident and safe driver and how simple can driving be. He was really patient with me and in short time I was ready for test and passed.

Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor to put me through my test! There isn’t a single thing I’d change in the slightest, I couldn’t recommend learn with vern enough to anyone looking at doing there lessons!

I've never felt so comfortable to make mistakes, learn from it and improve. To challenge myself or to take it easy, to actually enjoy finding things I could master but no pressure to get it right. Not to mention he drives a very nice car. (With a turbo🤘)

The best driving instructor I had very relaxed and explains everything in a calm manner but most important he teaches how to drive and not just how to pass a test.

He strikes the perfect balance between being patient enough to build your confidence and encouraging enough to create new challenges and keep the learning process moving.
He is one of the most approachable and down to earth people you will ever meet.

Very happy mum of a learner. Vern answered all my questions before Lewis started learning and reassured me every step of the way.
