Vern is a fantastic teacher.
He strikes the perfect balance between being patient enough to build your confidence and encouraging enough to create new challenges and keep the learning process moving.
He is one of the most approachable and down to earth people you will ever meet.
He has taught me skills, tricks and safety precautions in driving that I will use for the rest of my life.
At many points during my lessons with Vern he was more patient with me than I was with myself.

Very happy mum of a learner. Vern answered all my questions before Lewis started learning and reassured me every step of the way. What can I say, other than Vern is truly the best driving instructor there is, Vern is so patient and will teach you something over and over again u til you understand and feel confident with it, he never loses patients and will always find ways to help you learn in different ways, he will teach you something 10 different ways to find out the best way you learn, if you are a nervous or anxious driver or learner Vern is the instructor for you, he never gives up on you and never lets you give up on yourself even when you want to, will always be there through the ups and downs learning how to drive can bring, he puts all his time energy and effort into each lessons ensuring you get the best out of the time you have in the car, truly the best instructor and I would recommend to anyone who is wanting to learn how to drive or to anyone who is looking for a new driving instructor he is your man

My lessons with Vern couldn’t of been better, they were THE BEST. I felt so comfortable in the car and at ease with learning how to drive that after each lesson I couldn’t wait for the next! Vern really listens to you, makes you feel heard and happily answers any question you may have making sure you feel confident with the answer. There’s no pressure either on getting things right first time, and the lessons are tailored to you which I found really good and useful as I could say if there was something I particularly wanted to go over/correct we would do that for our lesson or fit it in with other plans in that time. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn to drive as Vern makes sure you become a safe and happy driver for life, not just to pass your test!

Swapped to Vern from another instructor after a long break, looking for someone more personable and very greatful I did. Feeling comfortable and building confidence felt alot easier with Vern considering my anxiety with driving when I started.

Vern is an absolutely amazing driving instructor! I had so much anxiety around driving and would cry at the beginning of our journey. We've worked through so much and I am now a confident driver and person in general! 100% recommend!

I came to Vern with baggage. Lack of self confidence, suffering from PTSD, high anxiety and was an emotional mess. I had years of bad experience with inadequate driving instructors. Vern was honest from the word go. He wanted to know my barriers, he wanted to know me. He took the time and tailored his teachings to how I would respond best. Vern genuinely wanted the best for me, he wanted to be part of me resetting my life and he has achieved that. I never once deaded a driving lesson as I knew Vern wasn't going to put me in a situation where I would freak out of set my mental health off into a downward spiral. I couldn't wait to meet up, chat and put the world to rights. I past my test, yes I was an emotion wreck when the examiner said I'd past, l looked to Vern and his smile was genuine, honest and reassuring I did good. I cannot recommend Learn with Vern enough to people especially those who are unique with their mental health. Vern I am forever in your debt. Please use Learn with Vern, you won't regret it. Thanks Vern.

Before starting lessons with Vern, I was extremely anxious and had failed the test multiple times. I feel more confident and more in control. Vern teaches in a way that makes you think instead of him telling you, and is a good laugh to have next to you. Cannot thank him enough for everything!
