I engaged BGS to connect the property to mains drainage and to decommission the septic tank. BGS made all the arrangements and got permissions from Anglian Water. As well as my garden the sewer ran through a car parking area belonging to my neighbours. The job was difficult because a restricted work area, high water table level and the fact that the sewer ran under a wall. The contract was completed within the estimated time frame in spite of delays in delivery of materials by third party suppliers. Rich and Andy took extreme care to keep any disturbance and damage to the garden and car parking area to a minimum and reinstated any minor unavoidable damage. My neighbours were away from home when work was being done and on their return they were unaware that the sewer had been laid such was the care that was taken to restore the ground to it’s previous state. I am very pleased with the way that the contract was planned, executed and would recommend BGS for similar work.

Below ground solutions were recommended to me by people in our village. We needed a broken drain repaired plus had some long standing issues with our septic tank. They responded quickly, made some sensible recommendations and a few days later the jobs were done. Good quality work, tidied up afterwards, very happy to recommend to others.

Our W.T.E. Vortex 6 sewage treatment plant was installed very efficiently. The workmen were friendly and discussed the job with us as it proceeded. The garden was left in a clean state despite the large digger used for excavation work. The Vortex 6 was a bespoke unit due to the requirement for the outlet to be in a certain position. This was carried out by the manufacturers with Below Ground Solutions keeping us updated at every stage.

When I started looking for quotations for connecting my new building to the public Sewerage, I invited few contractors for a quote. I have to say it was not easy to so. Few of those who I invited for quoting turned up, and politely turned down the job by over quoting me. When I came across BGS, I spoke to a young man by the name of Lee Wood, a bright young man who asked specific questions about the job and soon after, he gave me a realistic quote. Once I agreed he took the whole job out of my hand, and the whole job suddenly & skilfully was ready to be excuted. A date was set for the job, and Luke and his mate were assigned to the job and within one week the job was finished to a high standard. Luke was an amazing hard working man, even the rain did not stop him from doing his job.
I believe BGS is an asset for the whole country. Well done, Mr Lee Wood, Luke and Annabel Rickets for making this tough job so easy and simple. I will use your services again and again.

I was extremely impressed with the percolation test, I was expecting mess and a churned up garden. They used large boards to protect the grass and large plastic sheet, and left little mess, after digging 2 metre deep holes!!. The men were really informative, polite and, talked through what they were doing. Thanks

Below Ground were selected by our insurer to replace a failed spetic tank. From start to finish they have been so proffessional, helpful and knowledgeable. Dan Hudson was always in touch to keep us up to date with progress. Ross and Joe (onsite) show that they really care and know what they are doing. They were up against a mud bath and rain but completed the full installation with no disruption to us of the week they were here. The customer service and work ethic of this company is beyond excellent - thank you!

Very pleased with the work in a difficult location. MD Dan Hudson did his very best to help us in advance. On the day Marcus and his mate arrived when promised and their approach was excellent, resolving what could have been a re-occurring nightmare. Very were impressed not just technically what they did, but how they got on with it and how helpful and communicative they proved to be.

Mr woods came to my house , checked the septic tank to what condition it was in (i had previously had some of the liquid removed) so that he could inspect the inside of the tank he could see the inlet and outlet and was able to see it was in good condition, he also inspected the outside boundary to ascertain that there was no surface water drainage ditch near the area of the infield filtration system in my garden. Mr Woods was polite and very efficient at all times. I was very happy with the whole procedure. jr merriman

Absolutely top rate service. Non nonsense, practical approach to sort out a problem with our biodigester that hadn’t been connected, unknown to us, by our builders. We were fearing the worst and spiralling costs to sort out the situation, but Dan and his team resolved the situation within an hour. Can’t recommend more highly. Very professional outfit. Thank you.

While not a customer, it was important to us to ensure the work they were doing would meet our needs and be to our satisfaction. They had many obstacles to overcome to install the drains to the car wash, but they kept us regularly informed (sometimes with prompting) throughout. During the installation they caused no undue noise and were very professional. On the few occasions we spoke to the workmen, they were always friendly and informative.
However, the actual installation is not quite as was originally described to us. Although it is designed to overcome the problems of most of the waste water due to car wash operations, it does not entirely meet our original expectations. It does not fully meet the needs to remove surface water due to car wash operations outside the approved operational area, nor to rain water. Provided the owner of the site and operator of the car wash ensure the water pump is kept operating at all times, there should be no problems from our point of view.

BGS were easy to get hold of, Dan came and had a look at the job. He allayed a lot of fears considering the property is listed. Once the quote came in, BGS took over and arranged all of the licences with the council and Wessex Water. On the day of install, the guys were on time, quick at working and left everything clean and tidy. Professional, timely, and polite. Couldn't fault them. What was a potentially 3 day job was done in 2! Highly recommended.

New sewage treatment plant installation. Below Ground Solutions liaised well with my insurance company, ordered the plant efficiently in a timely way and in very challenging wet weather installed it on time. Once the weather had cleared the site was left tidy and clean. Workmen were polite, helpful and hard working. Managing director available by email and to talk to on mobile and answered all my questions.

The job involved laying a new drain, this was complicated by the depth of dig, in the region of 3 metres. An awkwardly lying gas pipe was successfully avoided, and the job was completed within the planned timescale of 2 days.
The personnel appeared confident and experienced and appeared to overcome any difficulties with ease. I would use this company again, as they are responsive with communications, and gives the customer confidence in their ability to complete the job.

Highly recommend Below Ground Solutions. They came up with a solution to sort our drainage issues and pricing was competitive. Once on site, the team were efficient and left the site extremely tidy at the end of every day. They worked hard and didn’t hesitate to make changes if required and quickly resolved any issues without any problems. We would use them again.
