These charities work hard to help adults, young people and children who have experienced domestic abuse.
Sutton Womens Aid:
Women's Aid is the key national charity working to end domestic violence against women and children. We support a network of over 350 dedicated specialist domestic violence services across the UK.
Jigsaw4U:
Jigsaw4u is a charity working to support children and young people through trauma, loss and bereavement. It brings together children and young people who feel alone and different, so that by sharing their experiences they can develop the tools to move forward in their lives
The Helping Hands Project:
The Helping Hands Project offers volunteer support for adults, young people & children who have/ are experiencing Domestic Abuse.
Can you help?
Anyone can volunteer – people from all communities are welcome but you must be over 20 years old.
To help you we offer – full training, support and supervision, expenses – and a great chance to enhance your skills.
