Paul Stockton joins the company from Rathbones Group plc where he previously held the roles of group finance director and managing director of its investment management business.
A chartered accountant who qualified with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1992, he brings more than three decades of experience across wealth management, investment management and financial services.
BRI now manages over £800m in client assets, and continues to invest in its leadership, governance and client service capabilities.
In March this year, BRI completed the acquisition of West Midlands Wealth Management, following the purchase of Gloucestershire-based FutureFocus Advisory Limited in October 2025.
The acquisitions form part of BRI's long-term strategy to become the leading wealth management business in the Midlands, maintaining long-term client relationships through the delivery of dedicated personal service and quality ongoing advice to valued clients.
BRI will continue to invest in its leadership and client facing teams as it grows.
