More than £2,000 was raised for the Sutton Coldfield-headquartered charity, whole Belvoir Estate Agents emerging as the competition winners.
Funds raised will enable the charity to continue providing its essential services, funding approximately half a week's worth of support for local people affected by cancer.
Based in Sutton Coldfield, the Cancer Support Centre has been supporting people living with and beyond cancer, as well as their families and carers, for more than 25 years.
The charity provides a range of free services designed to complement clinical treatment, including counselling, complementary therapies, wellbeing workshops, support groups, exercise sessions and practical advice.
Every year, hundreds of people across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands turn to the Centre for support during one of the most challenging periods of their lives.
While hospitals focus on diagnosis and treatment, the Cancer Support Centre helps individuals manage the emotional, psychological and practical impact of a cancer diagnosis, reducing isolation, rebuilding confidence and improving overall wellbeing.
Brian Davies, fundraising consultant at the Cancer Support Centre, said: “We're incredibly grateful to everyone who supported this year's Golf Day – from our players and sponsors to Walmley Golf Club for being such fantastic hosts.
“The course was in superb condition, making for an excellent day's golf, and congratulations must go to Belvoir Estate Agents on a superb winning score of 94 points.
“Every pound raised will make a genuine difference to local people affected by cancer. Raising over £2,000 means we can fund around half a week's worth of support at the Centre, helping people access counselling, wellbeing activities and practical support exactly when they need it most."
Looking ahead to next year, the charity is already welcoming enquiries from businesses interested in entering a team, sponsoring the event or supporting its work throughout the year.
