Went today and had a lovely time. Seats in Screen 2 were so comfy and it was nice to snuggle up to my daughter on the two-seater sofa to watch Red One.
Food and drink costs were standard for a cinema really although we found the large popcorn size a little smaller than other places.
My daughter was picking up all the sound devices with her phone and the quality of both sound and picture were excellent.
We will definitely be back.

Such a comfortable place. Screen 2 was great. Fantastic picture with a brilliant sound system. Loud enough but not ear splitting.

Love this cinema! Staff are friendly, design of the cinema is beautiful and a great variety of movies to pick from. Also love the seats upstairs and down.

First time visiting , very impressed , as soon as we walked in was greeted by Steve who helped my daughter with her dolls pram down the stairs and made her feel really special. I had made an error with the booking but the gentleman behind the counter was so lovely and fixed it for me. Staff Wer smiling and friendly , the Paddington special popcorn and drink deal was good.
The sofas were so comfy. Will be definitely going back. Thanks for making our mommy and daughter day off to a great start x

It’s very good well arranged. We really appreciate the seating arrangement. The sofa like seats provide great comfort.
The sound system is also very good and dynamic. Screen 2 and 3 probably looks a bit smaller in the beginning but once the movie starts it really suits the environment.
The staff members are well mannered and very friendly.
Overall we are very pleased. The location is super convenient as well.

Absolutely love the fact that someone has invested in Sutton Coldfield and will help to rebuild our community! The refurbishment is good and it is now a pleasure to go and watch a film without having your feet stick to the floor!! The prices are good too!! Please help and support this precious amenity .....

First time visit today since they refurbished and can honestly say how fabulous it is inside, lots of art deco fittings and nice and comfy seats inside the foyer and upstairs, where there's a bar too.
The cinema room, lovely furnishings and 2 seater couches as well as armchairs.
Cannot recommend this cinema highly enough. Will definitely be going again.

I went today, for the first time since it opened recently. It's great! Beautifully decorated and furnished. The armchair seats are very comfortable too. Recommended. We need to use it to keep it.

Cinema was nice, staff were friendly. But no parking any more, which I was disappointed by. Driving round for 20 minutes trying to find a place, I was nearly late for the film. The venue should warn people on their website.

I was amazed to see that this place, which had been closed for many years, had reopened. The transformation was incredible, and the new staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. The cinema itself was stunning, and when I took our seats, it felt like we were in first class. The sound quality was top-notch, with stereo effects that enhanced the overall experience. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable, and I couldn't find a single fault. I am thrilled to have found my new favourite spot and can't wait to come back every week to see the latest films. It truly is an amazing place. I also want to mention that the prices are just right, not too expensive. When you drive into the city center, it's often difficult to find parking space and the prices can be exorbitant, especially during peak times. This place, however, offers standard prices that are reasonable no matter when you visit. I can't praise it enough.

Great service, Usher was so amazingly helpful, even made sure we had snacks and drinks, in a none pushy way which nowadays makes a pleasant change. Highly recommend I’m sure she said her name was Marissa..comfy seats a bonus.

So pleased the cinema has reopened! It has a really nice atmosphere and is so clean and the staff are so helpful, particularly Marissa who showed us to our seats. Marissa was so friendly and polite. Couldn’t fault the cinema at all and will definitely be back soon!

Recently visited with my little one to watch Wild Robot and it was a great experience! The cinema is clean and styled beautifully. The staff greeted us with a smile and were very polite. The drinks/refreshments were not overpriced - so I was happy to buy directly from the cinema. I recommended the cinema to family who visited on the same day, later in the evening and although their screen was smaller they also had a great experience!

Overall the royal cinema is really nice, the interior design is very fancy. The prices of tickets isn't unreasonable and the price of the snacks and drinks are okay.
The major problem I had were the viewing times, I was looking forward to watching a new release. And the earliest viewing was 13:00, this made it very awkward to fit into my schedule for the day. It also took 20 minutes of advertisements before the movie actually started.

Very nice cinema, love the seating and food options. Didn't expect to see alcohol but it was a pleasent surprise. I wish newer releases had better timetabling as there was limited bookings for what I went to see
