I was amazed to see that this place, which had been closed for many years, had reopened. The transformation was incredible, and the new staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. The cinema itself was stunning, and when I took our seats, it felt like we were in first class. The sound quality was top-notch, with stereo effects that enhanced the overall experience. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable, and I couldn't find a single fault. I am thrilled to have found my new favourite spot and can't wait to come back every week to see the latest films. It truly is an amazing place. I also want to mention that the prices are just right, not too expensive. When you drive into the city center, it's often difficult to find parking space and the prices can be exorbitant, especially during peak times. This place, however, offers standard prices that are reasonable no matter when you visit. I can't praise it enough.

Great service, Usher was so amazingly helpful, even made sure we had snacks and drinks, in a none pushy way which nowadays makes a pleasant change. Highly recommend I’m sure she said her name was Marissa..comfy seats a bonus.

So pleased the cinema has reopened! It has a really nice atmosphere and is so clean and the staff are so helpful, particularly Marissa who showed us to our seats. Marissa was so friendly and polite. Couldn’t fault the cinema at all and will definitely be back soon!

Recently visited with my little one to watch Wild Robot and it was a great experience! The cinema is clean and styled beautifully. The staff greeted us with a smile and were very polite. The drinks/refreshments were not overpriced - so I was happy to buy directly from the cinema. I recommended the cinema to family who visited on the same day, later in the evening and although their screen was smaller they also had a great experience!<br><br>We will continue to use the Royal cinema and support this local business.

Overall the royal cinema is really nice, the interior design is very fancy. The prices of tickets isn't unreasonable and the price of the snacks and drinks are okay.<br>The major problem I had were the viewing times, I was looking forward to watching a new release. And the earliest viewing was 13:00, this made it very awkward to fit into my schedule for the day. It also took 20 minutes of advertisements before the movie actually started.

Very nice cinema, love the seating and food options. Didn't expect to see alcohol but it was a pleasent surprise. I wish newer releases had better timetabling as there was limited bookings for what I went to see

What an amazing restoration, the building is truly stunning, the art deco interior is beautiful, the seats in the cinema itself are so comfortable and the foot stools are a lovely extra.The sound system is phenomenal and last but not least all the staff were polite, smiling and very attentive. At last a place Sutton Coldfield can be proud of!

Beautiful Art deco features in the foyer and all around. Clean and tidy. Warm environment so no need to take a coat! Very clean toilets. On entering, as I am a disabled person I was helped by a member of staff. (Steven.) I had 3 small granddaughters with me so he made them all feel included with the concessions and what they wanted. Another member of staff (Finley.) helped us carry all our goodies and directed us to our seats. Lovely clean uniforms. We will make this our weekly treat as we all enjoyed the film and the seating was most comfortable.

How amazing it is to have our beloved cinema up and running again. I've been a few times since it opened and I will be continuing to go there. What a beautiful cinema. Can't fault a thing. Reasonable pricing and very comfortable seating. We went recently and Steve was so friendly and helpful. What a great cinema.

Cannot recommend enough! We have been with our kids and as a date night and for either type of evening it’s perfect. Very comfy seats, reasonably priced bar (and you can take your drinks in to the screening). Staff are lovely and very helpful and they have special seasonal events which are perfect. This will be our cinema of choice from now on!
