Wellwood Consulting was set up by Managing Director, Tony Wightman. Tony’s career spans corporate and sme sectors, having 12 years in the food and drinks industry in senior marketing and
sales disciplines with companies such as the Mars Group and Scottish & Newcastle.
From Mars, and over the ensuing 20 years, he set up his first business in marketing consulting (WRPO), prior to his second in direct marketing & advertising (TSM) which he built to a team of 30 spanning disciplines including strategy and planning, creative, client services, finance and procurement, and data planning & mining & mining.
This combination of leading edge marketing and sales management experience with big brand names together with the development of a business from start up to a turnover of several £ millions gives Tony a unique skill set with which to advise business owners on issues such as business strategy and action planning, business growth, people and process management, change management and ultimately the sale of a business.
Tony has experience as a Non Executive Director in addition to acting as business consultant, advisor and mentor. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is an accredited business growth adviser with Business Growth Accelerator.
