Been here 3 times in the last week and each time it has all been amazing. Great host, Oscar and an amazing staff.
Central location in the heart of Hartest. Plenty of parking and a great outdoor area with play area for children.

Went in on the off-chance of getting something to eat. They said we're closing the kitchen in 10 mins. Saw them bring a couple of plates of Haddock and chips out. That decided us both, ordered, and not long after ours came to our table. Absolutely delicious, would definitely recommend. Lovely place to go, we were made very welcome and we'll be back to try something else.

Recently moved to the are and visiting most good pub food guide but wished we came here sooner. Lovely greet from staff and chatted for 5 mins before going to our table. Friends arrived and we had a very very enjoyable time food was amazing. So much choice a real mix of unusual dishes. First class and going back time n time again.

it is always a pleasure to have a meal here Lovely food and service. Each time we have visited they have an excellent menu with different choices, we have never been disappointed. Welcoming staff and just the right vibe. A good pub garden also. If you go you will not be sorry.

I think The Crown does the best roast dinner in the area - I really can’t praise it highly enough. Great portions, delicious veg and a huge Yorkshire pudding with extra gravy - and I had the rhubarb and apple crumble with custard for dessert - 5 stars for that on its own! The staff were friendly, efficient, attentive and always very welcoming.

We visited this pub with our dog whilst staying on a local campsite Brighthouse Farm. The owner highly recommended this establishment and we were not disappointed highly recommended

Waited for 15 mins at bar to get served with drinks...there's a beam and two ladies behind bar neither thought about checking if we would like a drink.strange being a pub.also we sat at a table and thought about having a meal but the manager was talking to the couple on the next table but never thought about clearing our table.

We love this place for a Sunday pint, either in the lovely large garden or by the cosy gorgeous fire. Dog friendly and nice staff. Be nice to have some more vegan options on the menu. Lovely old traditional pub in a beautiful setting. Gets busy on Sundays so advise to book.

We had booked a table somewhere else but their was not open. On tbe off chance we rang the Crown and they was able to squeeze us in for the lunch sitting. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food was very nice would recommend.
