Have had many wonderful meals at this lovely country pub and today’s Sunday Lunch was no exception. A huge thank you to Oscar and his team, we always receive a very warm welcome and my favourite table by the fire was fully laid when we arrived. The food was fantastic too. We had a lovely time with family and old friends we haven’t seen for a while. Just perfect thank you again Oscar.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Staff were exceptional, friendly, and attentive. Food was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Portions were a good size considering the price, and our meal was one of the best Sunday roasts we've had. Highlights were the beef and stuffing that came with the chicken. We will definitely be returning.

This last Sunday, the Crown hosted a group of 25 people, family and friends to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We can only endorse other comments when we say the staff were so welcoming, cheerful and helpful. We appreciated how they worked around some of the party arriving late due to travel disruption. All of our guests loved their food (including the children) and it was delicious. We thank the staff for their very professional service and making our family occasion so special.

Been here 3 times in the last week and each time it has all been amazing. Great host, Oscar and an amazing staff.
Central location in the heart of Hartest. Plenty of parking and a great outdoor area with play area for children.
