Finding a new garage you trust is difficult , but Tackwood seem to be a really good choice! They fitted me in for an MOT at extremely short notice. They were super professional and efficient throughout and didn't try to charge me for any unnecessary extra work (which has often happened to me before!) Will definitely be coming back for any future work needed! 😁

Our Ford Focus needed its MOT today and thankfully Tackwood was able to fit us in. The service was second to none and we are delighted to be new customers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The MOT took less than an hour. Just bring in the car and in no time you get yourself a certificate. Very knowledgeable and thoughtful they answered all my questions. Highly recommended!

I have been using Tackwoods for many years for servicing, MOT’s and general repairs on all my cars and I’ve never been disappointed with the service. Having witnessed first hand today while collecting my car, the extent of how rude some of their customers are, I’m surprised they can manage to be friendly, polite, pleasant, respectful, advisory, professional and appropriately behaved with all their customers!
I can’t recommend Tackwoods enough and will continue to take my cars there for as long as I’m driving!

Very commutative with details of the issues with the car, during the MOT process and speedily resolved, so I was able to collect the vehicle, the same day.

Received excellent service from Tackwood, from start to finish. Booked my EV in for a service and to have front and rear break discs/pads replaced (after being advised by a main dealer at last years MOT they would need doing). Imagine my surprise and delight at being told they were only 30% worn and wouldn’t need doing…saving me a small fortune…the sort of honesty and customer service that will keep people returning again and again…Thank you.

Van went in with warning lights due to DPF sensor problems. I noticed that previous to this I had 22MPG recorded on my fuel economy, after the correction I noticed that I was recording a of 33.5MPG+ van feels and drives much nicer. Very happy with the level of service and the price.
Had been encouraged to delete DPF and remap elsewhere but happy I took those route. :)
