First time used and very impressed.
Booked the van in for its MOT using the online facility, had a quick confirmation and a couple of reminders before the date. They were open quite early as advertised and happy to help when I arrived. Very friendly service too, nice guys.
A big garage with lots of ramps and a modern and efficient look. And parking, lots of it!

Really knowledgeable, great with my car mot it failed but they managed to get the part fitted it and it passed the mot.
I had a sit and wait appointment which they had trouble with getting the car off before. So I was there for a while longer.
Nicola kept me informed about what was happening.

Brought my ageing Mazda in for a full service. Have recently had some error messages so diagnostics done but no error codes found. Brake pads found to be worn, garage called to check if I wanted them replacing now or to wait for another time. As MOT is coming up, agreed for work to be done today. The customer service is excellent from the booking process, appointment reminders, taking details of all the vehicle problems at drop off so they could be checked out, receiving clear advisement of costs of works and detailed post-service run down of work carried out by the technician. Car is running much more smoothly now, so thank you. Tackwood have a super friendly, trustworthy and professional team and deserve their recent winner for best small family run business for East Anglia region and I wish them well with the national awards in November. I am booking all our family vehicles into Tackwood now and recommending them to friends. Keep up the excellent work.
