I wouldn't take my car to anywhere but Tackwoods. They provide a complete honest and reliable service. Whenever I've had an MOT or any work done to my car, they've always provided an indept detailed report of what work needs doing or has been done. They talk you through any advisories that they have found whilst carrying out an MOT. I can not fault them at all.

Took my mini in to Tackwoods and from the minute I walked up to the counter I received a warm welcome and was looked after swiftly. Then they even had my car ready for me when they said it would be and advised me on further use of it. Good service

Hi I am always happy with tackwood as a service and the staff . I am dissapointed that there are certain things they won’t take on, ie oil & filter in my cmax automatic and the next service on my motorhome (Ford transit) I have to take it to another garage to have the wet cambelt changed which in my opinion is a service part.yours Chris Ratcliffe.

Just had my MOT done, very easy to book, and great feedback on the test. Tackwood have been doing my MOTs and servicing for more than 10 years and it has been an easy and low cost experience, easily a 5 star experience. And when I've had questions about my car they have been very helpful in taking a look and being reassuring, not using it as a selling opportunity, in an industry where the dealerships scare me, its great that there is an honest car company around.

I popped in this evening on the off chance that they may be able to replace a headlight. The staff managed to get it sorted there and then. Great service as always, thankyou!<br><br>On another occasion my car needed a wheel bearing replaced, due to me needing my car for work, they fit me in within a couple of days and even offered to collect my car. I can't fault the service, always willing to help customers as much as they can.

Have used Tackwood for our very old, and newer cars for several years. Always have excellent, polite, reliable service, with good explanations of any issues and their resolution. I particularly like that they will not go straight to the most expensive fix and carry out unnecessary work but will equally ensure safety is always first. Thank you team.
