A fantastic local garage. I recently purchased a new/used car and after a health check found it needed a wet belt change. After changing the welt belt, I contacted Tackwood to assist in my warranty claim as the dealership were reluctant to pay for the replacement. Darren was absolutely brilliant and sent across a full report + pictures which assisted in me obtaining a significant proportion of the cost back. Well done Tackwoods and keep up the brilliant work!

Tackwood have carried out MOT and full service on our motorhome. There was an issue with a brake caliper which meant it failed, but caliper replaced and then passed. I was called to let me know, I was not charged for a re test. Service all OK but front tyres were near legal limit, again a phone call to advise replacements needed fairly soon. As we have a few trips lined up I asked Tackwood to quote to replace like for like. I received a call from Dominic within the hour, I approved the price so Tackwood could order in the tyres. We left the motorhome with them, and received a call at 11am the next day to say the vehicle was ready for collection. Provided with electronic and paper copies of service invoice, mot, parts breakdown. As per previous experience with my car, an excellent service with personal and professional customer service and good value. I am recommending Tackwood to friends and family. Great service, keep up the excellent work.
PS, called in the following day as I had a low key battery warning for my car and did not know how to do it so asked for their advice. Before I knew it Darren had sorted it, replaced the battery and tested it whilst I waited - how fantastic is that!! Thankyou 😊
