Come on Solihull get out and about to some great attractions this weekend and the week ahead. 

Here is this weeks listings, but, as I have said before, remember this is only a flavour of what's happening for the complete listing of local events click here so you don't miss out.

The Costa del Solihull Beach  at Touchwood  Shopping is up and running for the start of the Rio Olympics, on until the 4th September,  this year the fun is extended into the evenings for the first time, so get your bucket and spade and join in the fun!


Friday 5th August

Get your tots along to The Parkridge Centre in Brueton Park and  Find a Frog Suitable for children 2 to 4 years old a great activity to keep them busy.

With two regular activities, Family Fun at Silver Blades Ice Rink  & for the adults  Mischief Solihull at Luna Night Club we get Friday off to a great start.

It's the first Friday of the month so test your taste buds at Solihull's  Farmers Market a chance for local traders to meet local people and introduce them to fresh and home grown food.


Saturday 6th

Have you joined in the fun at the Brueton Parkrun yet? Held every Saturday get all of the family fit and take the dog!

Car Boot Fun  Old Bosworth Wood Primary School run by volunteers every one loves a car boot sale. 

The Midlands Vintage and Antique Fair  is on at Fentham Hall, it features 28 stalls with a wide range of Vintage, Retro, Antiques, Collectables, Militaria and much more.


Sunday 7th

Wouldn't be Sunday without the  Hockley Heath Car Boot Sale & Market  Get yourself along to pick up a bargain, or be a seller it's great fun!


Wednesday 10th 

At Olton Jubilee Park there's a chance to copy your sporting heroes in Rio at the  Going for Gold mini Olympic events day. With entertainment, including face painting, rides and Punch & Judy, there are plenty of races, sports and other activities to get involved with.

Mell Squares Summer Fun starts today until Sunday 28th August. Over three weekends starting with family football, then Bike Excitement and finishing with Fairground Fun. Be sure to take a look at the great activities on offer.

Food Glorious Food Open Day  at the Solihull Day Nursery in Shirley, booking essential to find out about your local  Asquith Nursery.
