Hello and welcome to your bestof  Solihull guide to what's on in the borough. 

The highlight this week has to be MotorServ UK Solihull's FREE Family Fun Day on Saturday 3rd September. See details below.

However, there are also numerous markets and fairs taking place across the Solihull region, so lots to choose from this weekend. 

So here we go with what's on in Solihull...

Community Events 

 

MotorServ UK Solihull FREE Family fun Day 

On Saturday 3rd September a great way to round off the school holidays, with lots of free events and goodies to be won this will be Solihull's event of  the Summer! Go along  and join in the fun and its all FREE including ice-creams for the first 200 to attend! Be sure to get there early. 


Have your say in Shaping Solihull's Town Centre

The second consultation event for members of the public to learn more about the Masterplan, an ambitious project to ensure the vitality of Solihull town centre, for the next twenty years and ask any questions they may have: Saturday 3rd Sept outside Next in Touchwood.

Coming to the Royal British Legion Knowle Saturday 3rd Sept. Get your tickets while you can for this is a show not to be missed! 








Gift & Trade Shows At NEC


Autumn Fair at NEC Birmingham

On from the 4th - 7th September. This is the season's number one wholesale gift and home trade show, showcasing  the latest in lifestyle and home accessories, to the newest innovations in outdoor living, furniture and accessories, this show is a must you will be glad you went!

 

Toy Collectors' Fair  Sunday 4th September Whatever you collect, there is sure to be plenty to get excited about at the UK’s biggest toy show. If you can't make this one, there are other dates coming up. 

 

More Fairs... 

Midland Vintage and Antiques Fair

Monthly Fair, held first Saturday of the month, at Fentham Hall features 28 stalls with a wide range of Vintage, Retro, Antiques, CollectablesMilitaria and much more. 



Markets and Car boot sales 

 

Farmers Market

Held every month on a Friday in the High Street, showcasing local produce and seasonal drink, from 9am till 5pm. Lots of tasty morsels to tempt you!

 

Cheeki Monkeys Pop Up Baby & Childrens Market

Saturday 3rd Sept this is a wonderful market with thousands of pre-loved and handmade goods to choose from.

Also on Saturday 3rd at Bentley Heath Community Centre this great event offers sellers the chance to de clutter and make some money from outgrown baby and childrens items and the chance for buyers to grab some amazing bargains.

 

Car boot Sale  

At Old Bosworth Wood School Car Park on Saturday the 3rd from 12pm til 4pm, the Car Boot is run by volunteers of The Cars, Big Local.


Hockley Heath Car Boot Sale & Market

Weekly car boot & market on a Saturday from 6am until 1pm there is space for carbooters and market traders at this popular event.

'France At Home'  Thursday 8th til Saturday 10th September on Solihull High Street.  Enjoy a flavour of all things French at this authentic market, open 9am until 5pm

Lapworth Scarecrow Festival  Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th. Go along to the village of Lapworth which is  transformed by Scarecrows! BBQ, live music, bouncy castles, beer festival, craft fair & more.


& lastly put in your diaries to go along to  Fun in the Park Sunday 18th September at Tudor Grange Park.  A fun day out for all the family with children’s games and rides, displays and shows in the central arena, a classic car show, a dog show, fantastic food outlets and marquee and much, much more. All profits on the day will go to three local charities.
