The weather has been great so I hope you have been able to get out and about in Solihull and sample the delights the town has to offer this Summer.

If you havn't already been, get down to Touchwood for a Touch of Rio at the Costa del Solihull beach. 

Fun for all ages, as you soak up the carnival atmosphere, have yourself a mini  holiday you deserve it!

From Thursday to Sunday this weekend  Mell Squares Summer Fun invite you to Come Out To Play, and it's all about bikes! 

     Learn how to ride a bike or test your skills on the pump track. It will also be the place to get the best tips  for looking after your bikes.

It will be a great weekend and well worth a visit so, get your bike tyres pumped up and join in the fun.

On Monday 22nd August take the Kids to the Shirley Family Fun Day  in Shirley Park. There will be stalls, entertainment, children's rides, Punch & Judy Shows and much more. This is a must for the Summer holidays. 

Get your tickets for  The Spectacular Science Show at The Core Theatre on Thursday 25th August, this is science like you have never seen before.

For the artistic 

Suitable for beginners, at a cost of £12 per session, the Art workshops in Shirley, includes materials and refreshments, check out the flexible times and dates available here.

Boot sales and markets

Hockley Heath Car Boot Sale & Market  open every Sunday 7am With refreshments, toilets and bouncy castle on site, and with plenty of parking, and also market traders are welcome.

Wyndley Garden Centre presents  David Oakley & A Box of Tricks  magical fun with modelling balloons and a magic show, on Friday 26th August.

From Friday through to Bank Holiday Monday at the NEC is the  Insomnia58, The UK's Biggest Gaming Festival Featuring GAME Fest for the first time, the show including the expo halls will be open an extra day making it a four-day show running from Friday to Monday. If you love video games, then head to Insomnia58.

Thursday 25th - Sunday 28th August 2016, 11am - 4pm: Its the final weekend for Mell Squares Summer Fun , with different fun fair stalls each day, giant games to play, a craft workshop, a bungee AND fun fair rides! Over the Saturday and Sunday there will also be live music, you won't want to miss out!

Keep next weekend free for The Solihull Summer Fest two days of festival fun in Tudor Grange Park, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th August.

Experience the fun and excitement of a festival within Solihull. Each day will run from midday to 10pm and will hope to see over 5500 visitors.

A bit further ahead but put this one in your diary and get there early it will be busy! 

MotorServ UK Solihull FREE Family fun Day on Saturday 3rd September a great way to round off the school holidays, with lots of free events and goodies to be won this will be Solihull's event of  the Summer!
