Give a young adult the opportunity to develop their talent within your business
Sustain are looking for local host businesses to take on a young adult aged 18-24 years old for a 6 month work placement. The roles we are looking for are entry level, minimum wage positions. These placements are subsidised by our Talent Match company, which is funded by the Big Lottery. The current level of subsidy is 40%, so could be of interest to local employers. We are also looking for more young people, who fit the project’s criteria of being aged 18-24, live in Solihull (or Birmingham) and who have been unemployed for 12 months or more.

June Mole from Sustain rightly so is very passionate about this project & would be pleased to speak to any employers to raise the profile of the programme with them. They have around 50 young people on the programme in Solihull, who are all actively looking for work. And, as it’s a project they come to voluntarily, they really do want to work.
