Solihull Samaritans are celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year and are having a reunion party to finish the commemorations in a big way. The party is to be on December 5th.
The charity would like to welcome as many former members as possible to join the party.
Hilary, director of Solihull Samaritans and Pauline, one of the founder members are appealing to people who have been a Samaritan in the past and want to join in the celebrations to contact - 40th Anniversary Celebrations, Solihull Samaritans, Station Approach, Solihull B91 1LE and they will love to hear from you.
Volunteers are always needed to support people across the borough who are in distress or despair. No qualifications are needed but it does help to be a good listener. You have to be 18+ to volunteer to become a Samaritan listening volunteer.
