On Saturday, 3rd May, Maren Talbot gave a talk on Pleione Orchids, this turned out to a fascinating hands-on talk as her laptop didn’t work, so there were no slides, she also brought along a selection of lovely flowering Pleione plants for sale.
Our next meeting will be on Saturday, 31st May as we are unable to have the hall in June. Roy Bailey-Wood will be giving a talk on British Wild Orchids, there are at least 20 species growing around our own area, so this will be an interesting talk.
Meetings are held at St George and St Theresa’s Parish Centre, 338 Station Road, Dorridge, B93 8EZ on the first Saturday of the month, doors open at 1pm.
New members and visitors are welcome, and members are always willing to offer help or advice.
