Simon Foster is a musician living in South Birmingham with over twenty years of playing experience. At the age of eighteen he joined the established Beatles tribute act The Moondog Beatles touring the UK extensively. During this spell he played a variety of the top venues and festivals the UK has to offer including The Metropole Hotel, Blackpool Tower Ballroom and Guild Fest supporting the likes of Manfred Mann, The Tornadoes, The Drifters, The Searchers and Slade.

Towards the end of his time with The Moondog Beatles, the band concentrated on playing shows in Europe such as Majorca, Mallorca, Ireland and Spain. The band played in many nightclubs, cruise ships and a 10,000 strong beach festival.

Following his successful years with The Moondog Beatles, Simon spent the next few years playing in a variety of bands including Abba tribute band Abracadabra, playing the parts of both Benny and Bjorn. With Abracadabra he spent a fruitful summer playing a weekly show at Blackpool Pleasure Beach's Dome Theatre.

During the 2000’s, Simon played in a variety of bands including a number of successful duos such as The Lost Boys, the Koostics and backing up ‘The King of Swing’ where he was able to expand upon his already considerable repertoire of songs. He also spent a year as Guitarist and frontman for seven piece soul band Major Groove, where he got to enjoy his deep love of soul music. This outfit was mainly a corporate function band, playing places like The ICC and the Botanical gardens 

Recently Simon spent a year honing his ukulele skills playing with award winning folk group Aidan and the Wildfires, with songs being played on the BBC plus a successful residency at the world famous Troubadour club in London.

Simon can provide you with an all acoustic set with hits ranging from 1950's until present day, sets featuring the same range of songs with full backing track and even a pure swing set if required. Of course these can be mixed depending upon the customer requirements.
