EVENT date: Sunday 16 January 2011
***Important News***
We have had to take the decision to cancel this Sunday’s event due to severe weather warnings issued this morning by the Met Office for Sunday. We have surveyed the paths this morning at Malvern and Brueton Park and they are really treacherous with thick ice which is unlikely to thaw by Sunday. We have made every effort to try to and get a supply of grit to the route but the ice is too thick and will not be sufficient enough to make the footpaths safe.
“Naturally we are very very disappointed as we had a fantastic response and support to this brand new event in Solihull and there was such a huge excitement – this is always a truly fabulous fun and festive event which we wanted to bring to the West Midlands. We are pleased to announce that we have a new date for the event – Sunday 16 January 2011 – and we hope that all participants are still able to join us – and urge all to take part in this Post-Christmas Kick start to the new year – but still holding on to all our Santa suits to make it fun and colourful!"
