History

National Random Acts of Kindness Day was founded by Josh de Jong of New Zealand.

What is a random act of kindness

It is a selfless act performed by a person or a group wishing to either assist or to cheer up a individual person it is to be kind, thoughtful , use your manners, give out compliments, volunteer, and or forgive someone.

Show an Act of Kindness on Friday 17th February.

Random Acts of Kindness come in all forms, large and small, and how you choose to perform yours is entirely up to you.

You could,

Give your seat up on the bus

Let someone else go first

Just Say 'Please' or 'Thank you'

Take a 'friend' out to lunch just because they are your friend.

Put some change in the cup of a homeless person on the street.

Get a cup of tea or coffee for someone who 'looks down'

Lift someone up with your words, compliment them on their appearance.

Bake some cakes and take into work.

Just smiling at someone and telling them to have a good day could have a profound impact.

A Few Quotes of Kindness:
