So here's Amy..
My family are all from Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire. I was the first to be born in Solihull and I’m still here!
I went to Langley and then Solihull Sixth Form before leaving for a few years to study for my undergraduate degree at Keele. I then came back to the Midlands to do a Masters at the University of Birmingham before moving back to Solihull.
My main work focus has been in franchising where I have worked in Senior Management and have been responsible for the logistics, management and growth of over 100 franchises in the UK and abroad.
I have been able to travel to some amazing places including Transylvania, San Francisco and New York.
My real passion is helping small and medium sized businesses and I jumped at the opportunity to start LocalB in the Solihull and Greater Birmingham area in June 2015 so I could do just that. The digital world moves fast and I love working in such a dynamic workplace where no two days are the same.
I have four boys aged between 13 and 6, a Cockapoo puppy, a big black rescue cat called Moriarty and two guinea pigs. There really is never a quiet moment in my house.
When I’m not working most of my time is taken up with my boys and we love being outside as a family. Most weekends you will see us outside in wellies or enjoying a picnic if the weather is nice enough. If the weather really isn’t good enough then we all love indoor climbing.
Not many people know but ... I have several tattoos and love MotoGP (but I've never ridden a motorbike!)
