High speed trains to London from the West Midlands
“A high speed rail link between the West Midlands and London alone will generate benefits to the region valued in excess of £6bn over a sixty year period”. Say The Chambers of Commerce across the Midlands area who are working together to find out how these proposed new high speed train links will help local Solihull businesses and local Solihull people like you. Journey times will be halved to just 50 minutes, with 4 high speed trains proposed each hour to London.
The West Midlands Chambers of Commerce - comprising Birmingham and Solihull, Black Country, Coventry and Warwickshire, Hereford and Worcester, Shropshire, North Staffordshire, and South Staffordshire Chambers - is working with Advantage West Midlands to get under the skin of the economic arguments for high speed rail.
