Delivered in partnership with CTC Kingshurst Academy, the course is designed for people looking to update and refresh their numeracy skills and is offered at Level One or Level Two, depending on experience.
The course focuses on a range of topics including revisiting the basics, speeding up mental arithmetic, understanding your finances and discovering ways to make calculations easier, amongst others.
Celeste Amiss, who has successfully completed the Fast Track Maths programme, comments: “Completing the Level Two programme has helped me to progress in my job. The course helped me to rebuild my confidence in maths and it was taught at a pace that suited me.”
Both the Level One and Level Two programmes are nationally recognised OCR qualifications and on completion of the course, learners can progress onto further study at Solihull College.
The course runs from 6pm to 8pm starting on Wednesday 22nd February until Wednesday 30th May at the CTC Kingshurst Academy on Cooks Lane, Kingshurst.
