A really lovely pen shop (and stationery, too). I made a special trip over as I wanted to buy a special fountain pen (they are UK stockists for Leonardo Officina Italiana). They just gave me plenty of time to try the pens I was interested in, with no pressure. I must have spent over an hour trying pens and making my choice. The result is that I have a pen that I'm completely happy with and that is a joy to use.

Shrewsbury and its history. Writer's such as Mary Webb where I had the honour to meet descendents visiting here who now live in York where other famous writers lived. History is so important to education and beneficial to everyone's future. Taking time to reflect why they write such powerful word's is the reason why I post on my Google timeline. Time, Words, Education. The future is in our hands. I hope you see what I mean and feel when you might want to explore Shrewsbury and take away a memory.

A rare and unassuming gem. Easily the best pen shop in the west of UK and comparable to the excellent service their Cambridgeshire competitor. Bought online from them many times but was a pleasure to finally be able to go in and try a few Sailor and Lamy pens first hand.

This is where my love for pens started a couple of years ago. The staff are just nothing short of spectacular and a charm to deal with. They have amazing collections and a deep understanding and never try to push you to buy. The amount of care a courtesy they have when they deal with customers is unsurpassed. Makes you feel that you are part of a family.
I flew in to the UK and passed by Shrewsbury and was looking forward to going in. Nothing has changed except the new collections.
This place is what the world needs more local business and need to be supported. I would only buy from them even if I am far away. They can ship anywhere in the world.

Lovely shop, sells coloured pencils, markers, crayons etc. individually so you can get the colours you want without buying a set, half of which you don't use. Also sketchbooks, paintbrushes, pens and inks of course, and lots more!. Not a huge stock but very well chosen and reasonable prices. Much more fun to shop here than online!
