This shop fully deserves all of the positive reviews. Brought a fantastic pen from them and allowed me to choose the nib. They also helped me to get a Visconti pen fully repaired. Very friendly service and nothing appears to be too much trouble for the staff. I look forward to visiting the shop next time I'm in Shrewsbury.

I always buy my cards from Write Here. It's certainly nothing to be happy about when a large national card chain goes out of business, but it's reassuring that our own independent one is still thriving! Write Here stocks a lot more than just cards though... a veritable Aladdin's Cave!!

Bought a Lamy pen for my husband for his birthday and he was over the moon! To me, a pen is a pen, to be honest, but the gentleman at write here showed me a nice range and I ended up with the right one. Superb service.

Write Here is one of those fantastic Shrewsbury independents that always has a pleasant surprise within... I go there as they do the best selection of greetings cards in town. But they also stock some excellent Lamy pens, amongst many other makes of pen. Write Here is like an emporium of many different things to cater for many different tastes, spot on when trying to buy something for someone who has almost everything!

Wonderful shop on Shrewsbury High St. I get all my cards there, preferring to buy ones that you don't see stocked in every other card shop in town! The staff are always friendly, especially the owner, who I keep seeing in the paper representing Shop in the Loop. A great selection of unique gifts and quality fountain / ballpoint pens.

As visitors to Shrewsbury we chanced upon "Write Here". We were charmed by the vast choice of cards for every occasion and the number of very original gifts on display. The service was excellent and when we commented on a new kind of pen, the owner gave us a run down on other similar products without any of the hard sell you often get. It was simply, we felt, that he took pleasure in what he had for sale. I only wish we lived nearer so we could pop in more often. If YOU do then please go!

Weʼre always popping in to buy our cards from Write Here. Rather than getting the same old ones you can buy anywhere, John Hall has some unique collections. We recently had a baby girl and half the cards we got were the same! If only theyʼd known about Johnʼs shop!
