In the end, I was able to secure what I wanted, but not without a lot of effort and incorrect advice from the people I spoke to. Unfortunately, this took 4 or 5 phone calls to achieve. I was specific with the first 3 people I spoke to that I wanted to add another company car to my small fleet. Despite this, I was told that this would not be possible. I was passed to the personal department and quoted a price of more than 4x the previous vehicle.
I challenged this and was told again that what I wanted was not possible.
I sourced from the internet the direct line of the commercial department and spoke to another person, who told me that of course I could do what I wanted. After all, the fleet policy was designed to add and remove company vehicles.
Overall, the experience was irritating and wasted time. Yes, I ended up with what I wanted, but only through my own perseverance.
My conclusion is that a lot of training is required.

I had a very informative chat with Reece from the Aylesbury office. He was able to suggest and advise on insuring my horse lorry. Reece made very clear the terms and conditions. I was therefore able to make sure the lorry had the required cover for other drivers. The policy is very much tailored to my needs, having been provided with informed options. The price was so good I felt the need to double check the cover. Thank you Reece!
