I called to renew my car insurance with Howden which was (A-Plan) and who I have been with for many years, and spoke with Sam Eaton from the Wimbledon branch, who was just great! Professional, polite, patient and very thorough. Discussion re the quotes turned out positively in my favour and I have no problem with recommending Howden.

I was in a desperate situation regarding my insurance due to making a mistake online with my previous insurance which resulted in me losing my no claims bonus years from 14 to 4!.

I don’t like doing business online talking to chat bots et al. So having a named person with specialist knowledge handling my insurance account and answering my queries and helping me directly, is great and more reassuring.

After choosing my household insurance I spoke to my friend who also has her insurance with Ageas we compared our policies and I am paying £45 more for the same cover she advised me to contact the broker but I couldn’t be bothered with the hassle and unsure if it’s because her broker is in Scotland and my broker is in England hence the reason I’ve not given full marks

Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. After being let down at the last minute by another company, Jack understood that we were up against a very short timeframe and worked very hard to get our policy in place before the end of the day. After a terrible renewal from my mainstream insurer I asked around and had Howdens recommend to me. My Vehicle is a classic import and they managed to save me £265 on a Classic/performance policy. Really pleasant to deal with and Seb knew his stuff, I took their offer straight away.
