However, it would be nice to know how Insurance Brokers are responding to insurers price hikes. Are brokers commenting on increases and describing to clients what the key causes are. Inflation is only a small part. If food suddenly increased by over 30% per annum there would be reasons given.

Everyone we spoke to was pleasant and helpful, but at the end of the day they were unable to even come close to my renewal price with existing insurer. Pity as I would have liked Buildings and Contents insurance with them as well as the car insurance.
