My Home and Content insurance renewal was in excess of £180 dearer this year so decided to use Howdens to find a better deal and, employing the same level of cover, they managed to obtain a saving of £42; not great but OK as far as I was concerned. I have one annoyance which is with the security system employed for downloading the online documents that, having received an email with the registration link, fails to send you the verification email so you end up contacting the branch to send them – a repeat of the process 4 months earlier with my car insurance.
