Our insurance quote for two cars had increased significantly with another insurer, without any claims on either car. We had switched to Howden for our home insurance when that increased out of all proportion. Their quote was very competitive for one car but we decided to add the other and keep two separate policies to protect my wife's no claims discount. the quote for two separate policies was more competitive than the original insurer had been for one covering both cars, so we stuck with Howden.
