I first of all phoned Howden after a friends recommendation, I spoke to Isaac who was polite and informative ref Car Insurance. The price was cheaper than I had been quoted by another insurer, I then decided to insure my home contents so popped into the Taunton office, the staff were friendly and helpful.

Luana helped me in an emergency after my other insurance broker no longer covered Manchester. She was helpful even when I kept tweaking the policy (Sorry Luana for you having to call the underwriter like 4 times).

So great to speak to a helpful, friendly and knowledgeable person to sort my house insurance. Having tried to complete the long, tedious and often irrelevant questionnaires from online comparison sites it was an absolute joy to find Howdens with their personal service. Quote was also lower than any of those offered by the well-known comparison sites. Let’s hope Howdens doesn’t disappoint if I have to make a claim. Very happy so far!

Patient staff for what is a tedious but no doubt nescessary form fiilng exercise over the phone. Competitive quote worked out with some leeway if necessary.Beware the add ons for their brokers admin fee although my quote was more than competitive enough to absorb the fee and still show a 30% improvement over previous insurer.
