Contacted Howden about taking out a van insurance. Eddie at the IOW branch handled my enquiry- he was brilliant! He answered all my questions and could not have been more helpful; he was not at all pushy, called back when he said he would and talked me through the whole process. I ended up with a great quote that reflected where I live( and that has never happened before!) cheaper than what I had previously paid. Thank you very much- will certainly be recommending you to all my IOW friends!👍👏😊

We were recommended to Howden when we bought our camper van. Our enquiry was managed by Rob Moore in their Witney office.
Rob completely understood insurance and has an excellent telephone manor. He took us through all of the options and advised as we went along. It was so refreshing compared with the awful online process that insurance has become.
Our car insurances, by chance, was also due and Rob helped us to get quotes. Finally he quoted for our home insurance.
The combined quotes were very competitive, and Rob was able to find discounts to make the package work.
We are so relieved to find a broker interested in domestic business which is competitive. We maybe ‘old fashioned’ but it was a pleasure to speak with someone with knowledge, and who showed a genuine interest in us and our business. We are very happy.

I have had 4 insurance policies with Direct Line covering car& house/contents for the last seven years or so. Each annual renewal saw my premium rise considerably. Every time I complained the increase was halved.

Being involved in an accident is disruptive and disconcerting, the resulting paperwork can appear daunting and a million "what ifs" go through your mind. Howdens (Solihull) dealt with my claim from start to finish in a customer focused, professional, personal and efficient way. Through their claim handlers they sourced a replacement hire vehicle, liaised with the bodyshop and gave me regular progress reports through Ellie and Paige the dedicated points of contact for my case.

Gentleman helpful dealing with insurance for two cars. After paying for both I asked for documents to be sent in post to me as don't have a printer. Was told it would be done that day.
