The staff at Howdens have been brilliant in sorting out not only our home insurance but also amending this for business purposes mid term. I also took out a travel insurance policy as this was better value than online searches and the cover was better for someone with a pre-existing condition.

Earlier this year Howdens arranged my private health cover and when completing arrangements I was asked when my household cover was due to renew. Today I received a call from a charming young lady, Daisy Carr, to follow up. My renewal quote from my existing provider was 31% higher than last year so I was keen to obtain a fresh quotation. Needless to say I was happy with the quotation and have gone ahead. Daisy combined professionalism with a friendly and helpful attitude. My experience both this time and with the medical cover shows that using Howdens is a pleasure. I will be interested to see how they compare when my car insurance is due for renewal.

I chose Howden because l was really pleased to speak with a human being, particularly one who was helpful and clearly knew his job. I insured my rented property and the consultant I spoke with Julia Nicholson Ganley was so helpful and friendly she went through different options and got me a really good deal £200 cheaper than what I had been quoted by my previous insurer. I was so impressed by her that as my own house insurance was up for renewal I asked if she would get me a quote which she did and again it was over £100 cheaper than the quote I’d been given by my previous insurer. Julia was very competent, efficient and very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend giving this company Howdens a call for any insurance cover.
