I’ve used A-Plan in Bournemouth for a number of years, they are very competitive and go the extra mile. It’s always better to support local businesses and local staff. Kirsty fulford was very helpful with my van insurance and Chris Ashford was extremely helpful in sorting out an issue during lockdown with our car insurance. Would highly recommend giving them a chance to quote.

Been using Aplan insurance for a few years and very happy in being able to go back to a local office as opposed to internet searches I was phoned today by a Hanna Cornish from APlan insurance she was very professional and gave expert advice for my van insurance with a really good price it’s great being phoned as a reminder because life is very busy and it can be easy to forget a email reminder so thankyou

I already have Home Insurance with A Plan so when my car insurance came up for renewal I decided to give them a call. I knew my existing Insurer's renewal policy was high but I had no idea how high until A Plan came back with a quote. It covered everything I asked for so was like for like, and still it was much more of a saving.
The person that dealt with me was kind, empathetic to my needs (mobility issues) and very efficient.

I've been with A-plan for 20 plus years.
It takes a lot of the doubt and timewasting (they keep your details and compare and propose products) out of renewals and a broker is of particular help if you do have to make a claim.
I have always found A-plan in Bath most helpful, for example how comparable 2 products really are without having to read and compare the policy document details.

So far, we haven't had to make a claim, so can't pass comment on how that procedure works.
Their renewal process is fine, although I get sick of having to renegotiate the new premium on every policy each year. It would be a better process for me, and a better feeling all round, if it didn't seem to be just a revenue issue. It would be refreshing if our business seemed to be valued and was therefore priced accordingly. But I guess this is true of all insurance companies.

I continue to use A Plan Insurance because their quotes are always competitive.
On the one occasion I had to make a claim it was handled with efficiency and I was paid within 7 days of the accident.
