Generally very happy with A-Plan and I remain convinced there is a place for the personal service they offer, despite the on-line competition. They could improve their service by running the numbers on an on-line comparison site before offering a quote, just to understand what the competition are offering and thus "target price".
I will happily pay 10% extra to keep personal service, but not twice what I can find on Go-Compare.

Excellent level of service, always consistent in their approach and a pleasure to deal with. If you do need to make a claim, A-Plan often handle the paperwork for you. My policies are through the Taunton office, and whilst everyone is professional and efficient, Adam H-S has been particularly helpful.

We have been using A-Plan for nearly all our insurance needs for many years. The staff are always so helpful and pleasant. They have excellent knowledge and very diligent in obtaining the best deal for us. We have however found difficulties in transitioning to the Portal system. We still cannot locate our policy documents, and yes we are fairly tech savvy.

I have just purchased van insurance from A-Plan Insurance and received a fantastic service.
Having a van that has had a number of modifications makes it difficult to purchase insurance from many other companies. A Plan understood my needs and made the whole process simple to do and for a very reasonable price.

The service A-Plan gives is timely, helpful and comprehensive - reminders about renewals (-which I would probably forget!), seaching for best deals, checking for up-to-date or new requirements, and taking care of all the details (-which I would probably get wrong!), plus being somewhere to immediately turn to if an insurance claim becomes necessary. A 'safety net' that is well worth the modest administration fee.

Friendly, helpful service by phone. Able to find an insurer who would accept no claims discount from French insurer after we had returned to Uk after residing in France 12 years. Not everyone will.
