Our current insurer would not offer insurance on renewal due to the number of bedrooms in our property. They were most unhelpful. I was recommended to A-Plan Insurance in Exeter. They were very helpful and took all my details and property information and were able to quote to my satisfaction. A very efficient broker.

I dealt with Shane D at the Farnborough branch and he was courteous, friendly and efficient.
I have dealt with him several times in my capacity as Power of Attorney for my parents, dealing with their house insurance needs. If your insurance needs are a little out of the ordinary (high flood risk, empty property etc) then A Plan are definitely worth giving a call.
They were very helpful when dealing with a flood claim arising from damage caused by Storm Dennis. Would recommend.

Earlier in the year I was made aware of A-Plan by a friend, and took out car insurance, and was impressed by the treatment I was given by James Lacey in the Frome office. I feel that 'local' communication is important, and the fact that I can actually speak to a human being (not a recorded voice, and "press this for xxx and press that for yyy) James is very friendly and extremely patient with me - an ageing lady !! I therefore chose to take out my home insurance with A-Plan, and was very pleased when James found an Insurer who covered my needs at a price much lower than my previous insurer's quotation !
