A bit too much marketing
I was texted and emailed numerous times AFTER I spent an hour on the phone reviewing the policy and the choices. I felt there was quite a bit of selling of more products than what I needed and had to keep asking if it was something legally required. I was also texted and called SEVERAL times AFTER I had the initial quote so there was no update of the record made. Next year I'll compare quotes with others to look for a better rate and less aggressive service.

Moved over to A-Plan for my car insurance renewal when my broker elsewhere semi-retired and merged into them. They are not just a call centre although it's evident each branch does the majority of its business on the phone. If face-to-face is important to you as a contact criterion, this could be key. A-Plan's steps and questions were straightforward and relatively easy to answer, working towards the quote with the in-branch staff. And A-Plan did save me ££ over a well-known call centre-only insurer, too.
