Renewed my husband’s motor insurance today with Charlene at the St Albans branch. She was very efficient and friendly and took care of our needs. I have been with this branch for 40 years for my own car insurance and when needed they have provided an excellent service. I would highly recommend them.

The teams at A-Plan (I have used both the St Albans & the Bath branches) seem to be consistently first class in terms of their knowledge & customer service attitude - they really give you the feeling that you are being looked after & would be helped if you had an insurance claim situation - very reassuring. Plus of course, prices! The prices for insurance are great and you feel like they guide you through the process really easily which give you the confidence that you have not missed anything that the insurer needs to know (which is not the case if you do an online form). That's reassuring. They also make it really easy to try out different scenarios, eg, changing excesses, or other factors - they know more about how the product works than an online robot knows. Really great to have A-Plan by my side. Definitely recommend them

I was served by Ibrahim Kisitu today, I found him very knowledgable, affable and genuinely interested in providing a service.

I was seeking a comparison quotation to insure our two family vehicles that were due policy renawal in the coming weeks with a mainstream multicar insurer.
My renewal notice showed a whopping price increase in premiums. It was accompanied with the statement that I could not Get a lower quote from them even as a new customer!
I’d insured with A-Plan in previous years so thought I give them a call.
Lizzie M from the Malvern branch of A-Plan Insurance answered my call which surprised me because I was calling the Bristol Branch 😂however, that turns out to be a great customer service function that got me through to an Insurance professional, importantly a Human being with whom I could interact throughout the process.
Lizzie took all the necessary details and gave me many options to think about and promised to call me back.
I missed her first three attempts to call me back for which I apologise, but she reached me early the next day.
She went through and confirmed all my requirements then gave me my quotation. The underwriters she recommended are well known to me and trusted.
A-Plan off an exemplary broker service (I’d had cause to use of these services before) and handle all claims sensitively, efficiently and professionally.
A-Plan offer me a combined quote which was some £200 cheaper than my existing multicar insurer with very comparable offerings.
The decision was made and I took up the offer.
