I can't thank Roberta Kelly from the Tooting branch enough for the support she recently provided. Following a (no fault) car claim my insurance was due for renewal. As the claims not yet been settled by 3rd party she went over and above to provide further details around my renewal premium calculation and helped to reduce the premium. Hopefully everything will be back to normal in a years time but Roberta helped soften the blow!

After 30 years with the name company decided to find a cheaper product. Looked up services and found Howdens and gave them a go. The Rep I spoke to was cheerful , friendly and explained in detail about their service. We went though my requirements together and discussed other options that my previous company didn't cover. At the end end of our consultation about a cheaper package with more benefits and cover (than my old company) the Rep went over in great detail things I was unsure of . All I all I found the experience professional and beneficial. So many thanks to the staff and I would certainly recommend to friends and family.

I spoke this morning to Shuber Muhith in Tooting about renewing my motor isurance. It was a very positive experience - nothing was too much trouble. He very patiently took care to answer clearly all my detailed questions and, amazingly, my cost for the coming year is reduced. Well done.
I have a reservation which does not relate to this call, namely the change of name from A Plan to something without existing brand value and not at all easy to remember. Branding is not an owner's ego trip, but designed to express value to consumers. I learned this in four decades in advertising agency management.

I found speaking to the same person who was dealing with the matter directly was great and refreshing, no large call center, no moving from person to person and it had the personal touch, my contact was Michael Wyse, very helpful, great customer service all round. The price was also very good and lower than other quotations I have recived.

I popped into the Worthing branch of A-Plan (now Howdens) after experiencing a lot of frustrating communication with online and over the phone insurance companies. I'm so glad I did! Melissa Tolhurst welcomed me, listened patiently whilst I told her of my current situation (open claim on my current insurance). She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and worked really hard to find me the best deal. I will be recommending to friends and family who want the personal touch from an insurance firm! The person I dealt with was very patient when having to repeat things several times for this deaf old lady! He was able to answer all my questions in a clear manner, sent me a copy of the policy very promptly so that I could study it before making my decision, and always phoned back when he said he would. I did my research, the quote was not the cheapest, but I agreed to go along with it because I felt I could trust the person I was dealing with, and the company.

Been with A-Plan for years (now Howdens) and they have always been attentive to our requirements, whilst being competitive on price. The personal touch matters to me, as you'll need it in the event of a major claim. Quotes have been reasonably competitive over the years and whenever we've had questions or issues, they have been dealt with in a professional manner.
